Bascule,
Cape Grace's unique whisky bar and wine cellar has a whisky collection
of note and its perfect location on the water's edge adjacent to the
new yacht marina on the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, makes it home
to Cape Town's yachting personalities.
"Wall
displays of rare whiskies, with pride of place given to an inaugural
gift of a 50-year old whisky from Glenfiddich, bear testimony to
Bascule`s uniqueness in the world of whisky."
|
Over
400 whiskies from every producing region including Scotland, Ireland,
USA, Canada, India and Japan are served from the 11 metre long bar.
A
35 year Springbank, a 22 year Largie Meanoch Islay and a 30 year
Bowmore are some of the other rare single-malt whiskies available for
consumption at Bascule…not to mention the circa twenty different
Bourbons. |
