About accommodation in Llandudno
Suikerbossie Hill marks the start of one of the most scenic villages in the whole of Cape Town, Llandudno. Carry on past Suikerbossie and you will find yourself in the climes of
Hout Bay and Chapman's Peak in one direction and the trendy suburb of Camps Bay in the other. Llandudno is ultimately the best of both worlds, having the elite atmosphere found in
Camps Bay but without the bustling crowds and busy nightlife, making it perfect for mature travellers or those looking for tranquil surroundings.
With no restaurants or shops to speak of, the little town maintains its exclusive feel in more ways than one. Prices for residential property here stretch well past the million mark, while the lack of street lights keeps the town natural and bathed in the moon shine gleaming off the sea.
Llandudno is surrounded by the natural beauty which makes the Cape Peninsula and Atlantic Seaboard arguably one of the most beautiful on earth. The Twelve Apostles stretch skyward behind, while the turquoise ocean of the Atlantic meets the heavens in blueness on the horizon. Llandudno's beach is pristine, maintaining the fynbos and untouched indigenous flora and fauna which exist here.
If you are after a bit of nightlife, we recommend Camps Bay, not ten minutes from Llandudno, or the Republic of Hout Bay for a more tranquil evening spent in one of the many restaurants there. Although Llandudno does not offer the amenities which other suburbs may do, it by far surpasses the others with its exclusivity and beauty.
