CAPE TOWN PROPERTY
Cape Town PropertyOver the past 5 years Cape Town Real Estate has gone through one of the most phenomenal booms ever experienced.

Realtors were run off their feet as local and International buyers joined in a crazy rush for every available piece of this stunning city.

Places which had been popular before have been sold for previously unheard of multi-million rand figures, while down-at-heel suburbs became revived and restored to their former glory days as investors snapped up bargains to renovate and rent out or re-sell.

An example of the latter is Muizenberg, a multi-racial, multi-income group coastal town at the entrance to the False Bay coast.

In the past Muizenberg was an attractive holiday resort for wealthier families, with its long white beach and appealing setting under the mountains.

In more recent times the town became a hot spot for drugs and prostitution – crime ran rife in the heart of the old village and families fled to make way for unscrupulous landlords who allowed overcrowding to develop into squatting.

In the last couple of years Muizenberg has seen a rather miraculous revival as buyers began to see it as a gold mine – prime coastal property going for a song.

The village at the heart of Muizenberg has become an arty, cultural place with the 1930’s houses surrounding having their Oregon pine floors and sash windows stripped and painted. The beachfront area has been bought up by big-time developers and is currently being completely overhauled while keeping with-in the heritage regulations maintained by the City of Cape Town.

This is just one example of how the Cape Town property boom is changing the face of the city. Similar success stories are being told from the Atlantic Seaboard, through the heart of Cape Town city which is itself in the middle of a revival, right throughout the Northern and Southern Suburbs.

Now that the boom has settled into calmer waters it is possible once again to purchase property at more realistic prices if you are prepared to do your research.

And who wouldn’t want to own a prime piece of such a beautiful city – one of the most beautiful in the world?

Cape Town Property.
An investment in your future.
