An adventure of a lifetime awaits the brave souls who sign up for this awesome three-day trek in the rugged Hex River Mountains of the Western Cape with Book Cape Town.
The journey incorporates a ride in an ex-Army 4x4 truck to a height of 1920 metres above sea level and includes a canyon descent with over seventeen long abseils, a pool jump and many slides!
Trip Features:
The majestic Hex River Mountains, 2 nights under the stars, excellent bush catering and a sense of being in unexplored terrain.

Be prepared for an early start! We clamber onto the old Military 4x4 and travel to the start of the canyon at 1920 metres above sea level. A hearty breakfast sets us ready for the descent into the canyon. Soon we begin down the series of abseils - over cliffs and down waterfalls! We hike along the waterway to the campsite where we spend the second night sleeping

From here we hike to the vehicle and head back to Matroosberg Reserve by late
