River rafting - Doring, Includes

More Details

It's rare to find such unspoiled beauty and you will enjoy watching it rush by as you paddle down the river. Your meals will all be catered for and eaten on the riverbanks and you will camp under the African stars each night.

Location:

Doring River is a typical Cape mountain stream that (during the winter months, June - September) is transformed by rainfall into rapid and wild white water. At three hours drive from Cape Town, the Doring River runs through the Swarruggens and Cedarburg mountain range (where it joins the Olifants River) and provides us with two days of action, fun, excitement and challenge. You will raft through areas where Bushman/San paintings adorn caves in near-perfect condition. In season, Namaqualand flowers are prevalent in the surrounding area.

If you have been on the Orange and Breede River trips and need a more excitement, this trip cannot be missed.
