Mountain biking enthusiasts will enjoy the challenges of these two Cape Mountain Bike half day tours.
Table Mountain
What a privilege to be able to cycle on the foothills of this beautiful iconic mountain, so representative of the Mother City!
We start with a warm-up ride along a tar road before going off-road along a dirt track up to King’s Block House. From this site you will take in awesome views across the city and Southern Suburbs. An exhilarating downhill cycle takes us down to Rhodes Memorial – an imposing historical structure of statues and pillars, also offering excellent views and photo-ops.
A visit to the tea garden for some much-needed refreshment is followed by a cycle through Deer Park with more exciting downhills and challenging climbs all the way back to the waiting bus.
This tour is for beginners and experienced cyclists alike.
Tokai Forest
A stimulating and somewhat demanding cycle, this route is set in the trails of the Constantiaberg Mountains. You will get to enjoy stunning views of the Southern Suburbs all the way across to the Hottentots Holland range and beyond.
The route itself includes some excellent single track which makes this tour suitable for the more experienced cyclist.
Afterwards you’ll partake of some refreshment in the shade of the trees in the Arboretum.
