What a great way to spend the day – you’ll never be bored when you’re on a board! Combine the thrill of sandboarding the dunes and the rush of surfing the waves in Cape Town for the best combo since peanut butter and jam!

The Tour

After being picked up in one of our air-conditioned vehicles, the morning of the tour is spent exploring some of Cape Town’s most exquisite beaches where you will receive surf lessons from expert instructors. You will be tutored in the Surfing South Africa accredited ABC Surf Lesson which promises fun and safety in equal measures. You’ll learn basic skills such as judging waves, rips and currents as well as general water safety.

After an action filled morning in and out the waves you’ll need to re-fuel! A healthy and delicious picnic style lunch on the beach serves this purpose prefectly.

Then it’s back into the cool interior of the vehicle as we head out to the Atlantis Dunes for some fun in the sand. Those requiring tutelage will once again be taught using the ABC lesson plan. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, these dunes offer numerous runs of various levels.

Using specially designed boards you’ll soon be speeding down the steep white dunes and having the time of your life!

At the end of the day you’ll be dropped back at your accommodation at around 17h00, where we guarantee you’ll enjoy a well-earned sleep!
