For the ultimate boat-based thrill you have
to go on a Cape Town high-speed jet boat.
Groups of up to 12 pax can experience the fun together in
the magnificent licensed inflatable boat that leaves the ‘Pierhead’
at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront daily.
A one-hour adventure follows – past Granger Bay, Sea
Point and Bantry Bay to the beautiful beaches at Clifton and
Camps Bay, then turning at Bakoven and powering via the famous
Robben Island back to the mainland.
Travelling at over 100k per hour you’re guaranteed
a hefty dose of adrenalin! It’s also not common for
participants to experience seasickness as the speed cancels
out that rocking motion common on other boat trips.
If you book in the warm summer months we recommend you bring
along a bathing costume for a dip when we stop at Clifton.
This exciting tour is ideal for special occasions –
you can go out with a group of friends and enjoy a celebration
meal at one of the many excellent restaurants at the Waterfront
afterwards.
A Cape Town rubber duck ride also makes for a good team building
event or end of year party, perhaps as part of a day out in
the city.
