“The sun's just rising. Throw off your stern line, throw off your bow. You head out to the channel, past the Bullnose, Noah's Ark. Past the golf course with the crooked trees. Take one last look at Simonstown… The sun hits you as you head south, open up to 24knots; you're steaming now. The guys are busy, you're charged up. You know what? You're a goddam sportsfisherman! Is there anything better in the world?”
Inshore Game & Reef Fishing
The False Bay coastline is speckled with highly productive fishing spots off reefs, rocks and shorelines. Both Seal Island and Cape Point also offer a large variety of fish for inshore anglers to pursue.
Come on one of our 8 to 10 hour inshore fishing trips that target yellowtail, snoek, cape salmon, kob, sharks plus numerous species of reef fish.
Using light tackle and fly you can look forward to hooking yellowtail between 3 and 8 kgs.
Depending on conditions, the tour could include a trip to Cape Point or Seal Island. We may also drop nets for crayfish. In this case permits are required which you may obtain for R70 from any post office.
* All our charters include Tackle (Tuna, Light and Fly), Bait, Lunch, Beers & Cold drinks (No Spirits).
