For those of you who are fit and energetic, how about taking a kayak paddle out to Cape Point?
This is an experience that will awe the most well traveled person, with mind-blowing scenery of the Cape Peninsula from a uniquely offshore perspective.
You may choose a tour that lets you paddle in the general vicinity of the Point, or the longer option of transiting around Cape Point, the Cape of Storms, and the Cape of Good Hope.
While in the area, ask us about day trips from Buffels Bay to Cape Point, and back along the coast past Smitswinkel Bay and Millers Point to Simons Town (also available through Book Cape Town)
The cliffs of the Cape of Good Hope are among the “Everests” of the world’s oceans, rising high and proud out of the swirling waters and washed by the spray of endless waves over the millennia.
From your craft you will be able to observe whales and dolphins in season.
Expect a challenging but exhilarating tour that will require a good amount of energy but that will deliver a great experience you will never forget.
