The Tour
The morning begins early with either a trip up the revolving cable car to the top of Table Mountain for breathtaking 360 degree views of the city, or if the weather does not allow this, a drive up to Signal Hill which also affords great views across the city, the harbour and as far as Robben Island some days.
This is followed by a scenic drive along the Atlantic Seaboard past the ever-buzzing Sea Point and the sparkling beaches of Clifton.
We then drive through to the V&A Waterfront – South Africa’s Number One Tourist Destination – from where we take a guided boat cruise around the harbour.
Back into the heart of the City you’ll love to browse at the fascinating Green Market Square where stallholders sell their wares from unusual clothing to African curios.
For a different cultural experience we then move on to District Six, site of the forced removals of the 1960’s.
A gentle stroll through the Company Gardens allows you to enjoy the cool shade of the tree-lined paths where squirrels scamper and artists paint.
