The Western Cape is recognised as the ‘Sixth Flower Kingdom’ of the world. It boasts the largest variety of indigenous flowers anywhere. Imagine a rolling carpet of multi-coloured daisies and succulents as far as the eye can see. A truly breathtaking sight and well worth the drive.
But the West Coast offers much more. With its incredibly beautiful mountain regions, hot springs and great hiking, fishing and camping opportunities, this area is definitely worth seeing.
Our exclusive West Coast Tour (Tuesday to Thursday) promises you a 3 day escape from the city to a tranquil environment that will sooth your soul. We base the tour around the secluded village of Churchaven along the Langebaan lagoon in the West Coast National Park.
Tour Itinerary:
- Day 1
- Departure from Cape Town at 09h00.
- Visit historical sites in the coastal towns and fishermen’s villages of Saldanha, Paternoster and Langebaan.
- Experience true West Coast hospitality in an exclusive lagoon-logged private home at Churchaven.
- Sip sundowners on the verandah while enjoying the natural beauty and serenity.
- Sit down to a traditional homemade dinner or braai around a cozy fire.
- Day 2
- A day at leisure at the quaint little village of Churchaven.
- Experience the pristine beaches, nature walks and scenic drives in the nature reserve.
- Sundowners on the beach and dinner on the verandah!
- Day 3
- Wake up to the bounty of Mother Nature and the calling of the birds.
- After breakfast, depart for the rustic village of Darling in the heart of the Swartland.
- Enjoy lunch and a wine tasting on a nearby wine estate.
