I recently enjoyed two weeks vacation in the lovely city of Cape Town. The villa is situated in one of the most beautiful suburbs in Cape Town. I really can't find fault Camelot House. I don't want to forget to mention Shirly, the housekeeper who attended to our every whim. She is magic. I would recommend making a special request for Shirly to make sure she is there to look after you should you consider staying at Camelot.

Very big rooms, containing a kitchen with washing machine, bathroom, living room and sleeping room. Our room was a superior room. Parking available at very reasonable price: 50R/day, very good, friendly and efficient reception, very good breakfast and very good service. We had a very good stay here, and rather quiet, what is surprising if you look to the location. Location is in the historical centre, very close to the company gardens.

Spent three days here with a tour in March. It is a classic. Beautiful grounds, within walking distance of "downtown", and highly attentative staff. We were without luggage (lost by airline) for two days and the staff could not offer enough assistance with personal items to get us through this time. Breakfast buffet is outstanding, the restaurants and bars offer well prepared, delicious and excelently served fare in a traditional manner. The rooms are old and many of the bedrooms are a bit cramped, but the bathroom is modern, well appointed and large with both soaking tub and shower. This is a highly recommended stay.

All in all we had a great stay in Cape Town apart from our friends incident. however there are a couple of things about the apartment that, if improved, would make a stay here all the more pleasant. the first would be de-humidifiers in the rooms and a door on the bathroom in the 2nd bedroom as our clothes were constantly damp. also, you might want to think about something on the floors of the upstairs appartment as it has been very noisy with very heavy footsteps and voices for the last three nights at all hours. however housekeeping and service has been great, washing machine much appreciated and we even had sun. thank you!
