The two-hour lesson begins on the beach (on the rare day that Muizenberg is not suitable the lessons are at Big Bay).

Your Surfing South Africa Accredited coach will meet you and kit you out with your wetsuit and board.  The lessons are based directly on the SSA’s ABC Surf Lesson, which means your introduction to surfing is both fun and safe.

You will be taken through the basic skills required (judging waves, rips and currents etc) and general water safety.
