If you've always dreamed of learning to surf Cape Town is the perfect place. Beginners are able to learn on waves that seem made for first timers. Your expert guide will teach you all the secrets of paddling out, reading the wave and then catching it. Once you're up you'll also learn how to control your body and balance to ride that wave!
The boards used for the lesson are specially selected for beginners. The lessons are structured to take total landlubbers from "surfing zero to wave riding hero" as our guides like to say.
All the instructors are excellent surfers who are delighted to impart their knowledge, tips, technological info and most of all passion for the sport to every pupil.
Once you've gotten the hang of standing you'll be taken to the next level, progressing at your own pace until you've learned all you possibly can and are on your way to being a genuine surf star!
Not only is the location (usually at Big Bay near Table View) ideal for learning at, it also offers incredible scenery with views of Table Mountain and Robben Island, enhancing your experience eve further.
